Yep -- missing the / in front of a command and just saying the command instead of performing it is always exciting...saying "who npc range 50 65" is hard to blow off :)

I donated twice so far, just in the hopes that someone could help me solve the age-old question that's been hung like a tethered weight around my rank.

*edit* corrected typo/mistake type thing

1) Can someone please change my rank back 2) It's an inconvenience and, imho, an unnecessary one. If it's to prevent people from selling it, then, like you said, all they have to do is have the buyer run MQAuth.exe on their system, mail the file back, then they add that info into their .h file and t...

Alright already, I apologize

Look, I never meant to cause such a huge ordeal about all this. It was a long morning as I had to send out MQAuth.exe 4 times and recompile MQ2 4 times today to get it working for my friends who do not have access to VS .NET (and who refuse to use illegal copies of software {warez}). At the time, af...

That's all fine and dandy Lax, however the loader is a piece of the original release of macroquest -- no matter how much you change it, it is still from the original release, therefore when someone requests the source for it, you must release it. It is a part YOU modified, not a privately released p...

MQ2 is based off on MQ, it HAS to be under the GPL, it's not an option. I do like, but they are required to release all of their source, they shouldn't have done it if they weren't willing to release the source. Using GPL takes away your right to "security through obscurity" so "defea...

No, I have the source code for all of the .DLL files, but the removed the source code for the executable (the DLL Loader) and have never included the source code for the MQAuth.exe program.

Where is the Source for the Executable?

Under the GPL, you guys have to include the source for the entire program with any distribution, the most recent copy I downloaded of MQ2 had no source code for the Macroquest executable file. Please correct this oversight as soon as possible to make sure you are in compliance with the GPL. Domosan ...

heh -- I can't use this UI, I imported just pieces of it (buffwindows, player window, target window) and it lags out the game so much it is completely unplayable.

You can use MQ to macro some of the combines, although almost all of the combines that made decent profit have been adjusted by Sony at this point. It is still possible to make platinum using some of them however.

I used to contribute complex macros as well as offsets and code snippets...then EQ pissed me off and I quit playing...just now restarted again. :)
