people will prolly still use mq2 over this, because of the ability to integrate clickies and the customizability (is that a word?)

LOL, I'm surprised there are so many posts against that. Probably just one troll who created multiple accounts, as the post counts on some of the naysayers are around 1-3 lol.
Either that or just a bunch of masochists who enjoy pain and not being able to talk to their group while twisting lol.

Actually ...I think they deleted posts that read something like: "WHAT THE FUCK!? Bards get this but rangers don't!? (ie, in regards to archery)"

Yeah but those rangers have no room to complain. Sony has said that gamepads with autofire are OK for rangers. In other words, rangers have had a legit non-macro alternative to pushing a button over and over while OTOH, bards didn't. And no, I don't play either class :-).

What amazes me is all the idiot elitist bards that are crying over the change. As if twisting was ever hard... oh wait, it isn't. It's just mindless repetition that gave some of us carpal tunnel. Apparently none of them have had to stop playing simply because of wrist pain.
A neat addition for those without MQ I guess, if they reduce how stupidly high the fizzle rate is...

Hmmm... how is this really going to make that big of a change. I see this feature allowing bards to chat while in a group while fighting a mob while they don't have aggro. That's just about it.
Chant kiting? pfft, not with charm resists/fizzles, timing.
Swarm kiting? already dead and about time too.
DoT kiting? Possible, but with fizzles it will still be tricky
Grouped, in melee, and want to say "Hey, I'm in on that aug that just dropped" without it looking like "he" "y aIad23" "in" -- YAY! for all those bards that don't use MQ2 or other macro utils to twist group songs.
((still dealing with missed notes but in a group when you have no aggro it isn't a death or death situation))
Lastly... I don't see bards coming out of the woodwork being able to single chain pull vxed or tipt for farming using this feature. Not a bad addition.
/ramble off
Edit:
Correction, Swarm kiting isn't dead... AoE has been killed. They were generally of the same class, so I thoughtlessly grouped them together.
There will be much love for this addition during traveling and group downtime. /Melody ((hp/mana regen here)) and then actually join in group chat. ::gasp::
Then again, there will be much hate for this addition from those of us who play a bard so we have an excuse not to chat with the morons around us.
