ok, i will probably be ripped a new one for this post, but.. i want to know how hard it is to actually start writing macros. like in comparison to say.. HTML , would writing a macro be harder or easier than creating a webpage. and i used search at least 50 times and couldn't find a guide to creating a macro, altho i did find one to compiling and plugins :-p.

so to get to my points.

1. How hard is it to write a macro from scratch. not a big macro, just maybe like a 7kb one.

2. Are there any "Idiot Guide to Creating a Macro" type guides that i can find on the forum or webpage or google :-p.

3. Love and Peace!

My first suggestion would be to think up your goal . . . what do you want to accomplish with your macro. Once you have answered that for yourself, and shared it with us, we might be able to give you a little bit more insight.

Try reading through the manual (readme.chm) and looking at all the commands, and what they do. Then you can try reading through exsisting code posted on the boards, and try to see what people did to make things work. Then you can try making something small, and if doesn't work like you thought, you can try posting about it and see if someone can help you on it. Personally, I found the mq scripting pretty easy to learn, and mainly, by doing the things i said above.
