Do I have to recompile everything, or is there a quick fix... and if so how do I go about getting it?

the quick fix is to actually petition a gm and ask for the offsets for the new patch so that you can update your macros. beings how they now have the new macros introduced into eq they give these offsets out openly. (either that or wait till they are published on the eq website publically) but i'd just ask a gm for them.

anyways. if ya dont feel like asking a gm for them and/or waiting on the release of them on the eqwebsite, then just recompile mq2 altogether.

btw... the offsets are easy to imply into mq2 once the gm gives them to ya. just type in your mq window /unload. then when everthing is unloaded from mq2, just type

Code: Select all

/loadoffsets #########
where ######## equals the offset numbers they give ya.

peace out.

Live chat can be a quicker way to accomplish the same thing. Theres usually a GM in the first room you can ask. If the gm there doesn't have a clue, you probably would be better off putting in a petition tho so it can be escalated by the guides.

you can do it your way also slim, never really thought of that. and it would probably be quicker too, cuase someone in the chat probably already has the offsets anyways. so even if the gm couldnt answer right away, someone else might be able to.

i will have to remember that next patch, i usually just waited for the petition to be replied to myself.

thanx man for that tip.

What the fuck? GM's give this info out nowadays? Hell I still wait for them to update the offsets on eqlive.

Thanks for the tip though, off to the /petition queue I go!

I must be blind. I haven't seen the offsets posted on eqlive.

What is the subsection that this information is published?

smally, this is what you do..

1)walk to your refrigerator
2)open it
3)place your head in it
4)slam the door closed as hard as possible while your head is in it about 5 times
5)then come back and complain you have a headache. Therefore we can give you some good advice other than "go back to rpgexpert moron"

Well thanks for that words there, but it still doesn't give me the information I was looking for.

Second being rude to people is not a very nice thing to do.

Third, if you wasn't going to give the information asked, then why did you reply?

It's been a while, I can't remember. Easiest thing to do is make a post on any section asking about it. Eventually a mod will see it and be like "wtf this is out of place" and will move it to the right section. Then you just log in, search for posts you've made, and it'll be listed in the right section.
