AYA 7.5 GoD/OoW whole package

Ok, I got the new AYA UI, which I DID NOT MAKE, from EQinterface and added what I like to have constantly visible(visable?) from the MQ standpoint of things. I also made some other minor changes to things such as containor etc because I dont like having 6 item links at the top of each bag.
Things changed:
Buff window, now the buffs with timers, yes even though mouseover now displays remaining time I prefer it always there. Note however that MQ seems to be one tick behind the EQ stated remaining time. Not sure which is correct as I just noticed and I havnt sat till a buff faded to determine which is accurate. No idea if this is a bug in MQ or whatever so someone who cares enough can feel free to ask for more details or look into it. Ultimatly it doesnt matter cause its one tick and by then your rebuffing anyway but I digress.
Obviously Target Window, basiclly the same target window I put out with AYA 7.0. It now contains mob class, level and distance, as well as HP/MANA, but now using EQ's mana number since its there anyway, and lastly hp/man regen. Mana regen is very accurate as far as I can tell, when your raid buffed and start generating over 100 per tick sometimes the display can shift a bit and cause overlap or loss of sight, guess i would need to reposition some things but generally it works well.
The health regen however is tricky...it does work, but not as you would totally expect, but this isnt a bug, just the way EQ works... if you are just hanging out, HP regen is fine, regen buff, still fine, even a HoT will show up as "regen" persay. But if your a necro lich can cause some problems. Dont know if you ever sat and watched your health with lich on but if you do youll notice your health change twice. Again no extensive testing here but my assumption is that one change is you loosing health from lich buff/debuff and the other is you gaining health from regen. the last "change" to your health is whats displayed in the regen label. A minor issue again though.
I also took out the AYA logo from the itemdisplay box. No disrespect to the creator or anything, im not trying to wipe his name from the UI but I simply dont like seeing that each time I look at an item. It takes up room and its tacky to me.

Finally, if you would like to host the zip for the whole UI, i believe its only a meg or probably less havnt checked I would be more than happy to zip up all my changes both ones MQ related and ones not for people to download. For now Ill just post the two files as code that have MQ changes in them and youll be on your own, or e-mail me at msm3062@rit.edu and ill mail you the zip or send it over a chat client whatever works for you.

Ohh yea, one last thing is I know some of the....code blocks(?), not sure what they are called in XML...are depricated but i just left them in there, others are commented out completely. If someone wants to manually remove those pieces and repost code it may be smaller, but im lazy :( sorry.....

Could you talk a look at this and give me some idea why cronics MQ2ItemSearch won't work with either vanilla Aya or the modded version here? It's not a big deal, just frustrating :?

Oh, I want to STRESS that there is nothing wrong with either the AYA or the mods done here, Im just looking for help to "meld" the two of them.

Before the MQ2ItemSearch program automatically adds the code to the ui_toonname_server.ini file, I basically have no errors. After loading the plugin and reloading the UI I get

Now I can replace the UI_toonname_server.ini and unload the plugin and everything goes back to ok, but I'd like to use that plugin AND the AYA ui if at all possible.

That makes me think there may be something up with your EQUI_Animations.xml Probably more than just that, though.

I had this same problem screwing around with AYA last night, Hamner. I should have documented WTF I did to make it go away. In the end I just kept fiddling around until I got it wokring right.

I do know one of the things I ended up doing was changing the AYA EQUI.xml file name to MQUI.xml. Umm, and I got rid of the MP3 player window because it gives me problems with MQ2Timer. Sorry I couldn't help more, I was sort of hacking and slashing at it last night until I got results without really keeping track of what I was doing.

Now that I think on it, I too had trouble with the timer window and had to give it up.......would you be will ing to share your INI (sans name of course) and AYA folder as is?

I think you're missing the point. The UI itself works, but there's some MAJOR problems trying to use it with the MQ2ItemSearch plugin.

Not just item search, it is also MQ2Timer, and I don't recall turning off the dps window in mq2dps.. so I would wager it has something to dow ith any plugin that creates it's oen UI windows.

I am pretty sure that I made that clear, but for those that prefer not to read all of the above message, I submit the following:
THE UI MOD WORKS AS IS

However, when you attempt to add either ItemSearch and or the Timer, it quits working, the same if you use the unmodified version.

It has something to do with adding the code to the INI. Unfortunatly, I know nothing about XML so that is why I asked. I also know nothing about coding, so I donated.

I am still unable to get this to work with MQ2Timer and MQ2Itemsearch, how ever it works just DANDY with MQ2Tracking.

Again I stress that the UI and UI mod works perfectly with out the above 2 items. However I am XML inhibited and don't seem to be able to follow it well enough to make it work. My last bump on this I promise (then I start looking for a bell tower).

I found out that manually including those two xml files in your MQUI.xml fixes it. If you open up your MQUI file you'll probably see an include for your MQ2Tracking window, just copy that line and modify it to match your other two MQ XML files. Beyond that, I can't help ya :D
