is it possible to run a macro in two different eq windows at once on the same computer?

I have done it before so it can be done. However with 2 windows up it ran much slower for me, probably about 70% of normal speed.

possible yes.
usable, depends upon your machine
help to have both sessions have all models off; sounds off (you have to exit eqgame and restart it after setting this option for it to work), 800x600
but yes it is quite doable on some machines
and MQ will give you no problem running on both.

I upgraded to a system similar to what you're getting, except I added 1gig of ram, EQ has never ran better for me. XP has been really stable, I have only crashed a few times since upgrading. Before XP I was crashing several times a session.
I have trouble still if I am smithing or baking with a macro and I have another account logged in, sometimes it will just try cramming random things into the combiners or trying to drop items. Bot and hunting macros seem to run really well.

it does work...but...lag really screws up running 2 eqws at same time - i found when lag was bad both would stop working.
