The servers went down again for another one hour emergency patch, for a 'crashing issue'. The new patch included a new version of eqgame.exe sadly.

they needed it. My server was crashing daily... once right after I won the roll on a nice new main hand weapon, but before I could loot (and even if I had, I'd have rolled back to before I looted it).
Isn't MGB still untimed as well?

Ouch that really sucks, my server hasn't been having problems, and unlike everyone else my MGB has been working normally. A lot of people have said that it keeps reseting on them though.

I hate that they have to do a patch again that affects the eqgame.exe, but I'm also glad they are doing it. The server I primarily use has crashed quite frequently in the last few days. I love the spontaneous reboots

I hope they fix the problem with the Far Clip Plane. The slider doesn't do anything if set beyond 50%(If you have it set at 100% it looks like it's set at 100%).
And this new name label sucks ass. It gets smaller on the screen the closer you get.. Why? It's not like it makes it easier to read, which is so friggen retarded, Lol.

My server hasn't had any problems I noticed either. I also agree the new name labels suck hard balls. I wish they would add an option to keep them the way they were.
What really sucks for me is I JUST learned how to compile MQ on my own, and was all proud of my dumb ass..... now I gotta do it all over. Took me all freaking day, I'm not as bright as some of you guys
. Took me that long cause the free trial for VS had errors all over the page

It is pretty annoying, and once you get a few feet from someone the name begins to fade and you can't even see it. Only good use I've gotten out of it is running through BoT it is a lot easyer to see npc names, so you can keep away from those see-invis mobs.
