Giving important information in raid, guild or group channel easily and with optimized visibility. Since the channel colours patch is not yet on...

what link does it make?

Request:

Use a variable and have it like:
/mac fakelink "<link you want to fake>" "<what you want link to say>" "<command you want to do>"

Example: /mac fakelink "<Link to Damaged Annals>" "%t" "/gu %link INC"
Or: /mac fakelink "<Link to Sword of Truth>" "Here" "/gu Click %link To See A Real Man's Sword"

If that's possible that'd be A++

He quite didn't. The whole point is that you're sending a link to another (real) item along with whatever text you want. The same as if I added and HTML tag saying "Big boobies here!!!1!" but made the URL point to disney.com

What I meant was I wanted a more customizable way to fake links.

I wanted to be able to set the line of text I wanted it to do and what link to use.

Awesome mac, doing it the old fashioned way with socials was just too retardedly overcomplicated.

That wouldn't be that hard if you just wanted to use alias's.

I used a fake link in my pull messages. The link didn't go anywhere, just showed up as the link color and it was EASILY identifiable in every chat. Many asked me how I did it, and it has been posted on some forums now. It was created by changing a file around, and it was pretty strict and limiting. This doesn't seem to be so limiting.

A+

2 bad it does work for a real item and then changing the name on it. Like having a head of a DE and putting the link to say your guild leaders name.

Come to find out a few days later they have a plugin that does it :) /cheer
