Yes, apparently RGPExlax does pay for guides. They once paid for a guide that was directly ripped off from another person's website.

My hope is that most who comes here from there is a total idiot and manages to get it up and running well enough to get caught and banned.

I can't believe the fucker posted a link to this site on top of it all. At least I found it using google. I don't talk to anyone about this stuff, in game or out, with the exception of posting here. My fiance is the only one I discuss it with since I installed it on her system, at her request.

Makes you want to have an NDA for the program. LOL Each time it is patched and a new zip you have to submit a new NDA in order to get the MQ2auth.exe file. Though I'm sure that it wouldn't work too well. Just a thought.

Captain Obvious Says:
Macroquest? sounds like something you can and more then likely will get banned for using if you get caught.
I really enjoied that.

I wonder if we could start a rumor stating that MQ was bought by SoE and it now logs your charname/server and emails it to them. *grin*

I was just flabberghasted and zoned away before i got so mad i would try to kill him.

Anyone notice that this is straight copy and pasted from the post on these message boards about how to get MQ2 running using the free VS.net? Aren't all of these pages copyright protected? I think a simple email to that effect could bring about a quick removal of the article.
Bein a bard.. I seriously would have to start another character if they started cracking down on MQ2 users.. MQ2Twist and MQ2MoveUtils are great... and I couldn't do it without em.
