Is the dmg bonus of a weapon available in MQ2? I may have overlooked it, but I can't find any variable that will tell me the dmg bonus of an item I am currently viewing if that item is a weapon.

It's a factor of your level and the weapons' delay, and is already listed on a weapon when you inspect it, if you are of level of getting the bonus.

Yeah, I thought that maybe since it's listed it would be a value that I could use in a calculation, just as dmg and delay are variables. But, I may be stuck building my own custom dmgbonus function just so I can get the value to use.

not too variable really

there is no real calculation for that. The damage bonus is determined by a couple things. If it's one hand weap then it's determined by the weilders level. If it's two hand weap then it's determined by the delay of the weapon and the level.
For more detailed information you can find the table at lucy.fnord.net.

Perhaps the best way to build that would be to check your weapon type, grab your level and/or delay and pull the information from a text file. Alternately you could manually enter the information and let it fetch it for ya too. But then, if I was a genious I wouldn't spend so much time looking for answers :)

wouldn't spend so much time editing posts to fix a simple url either lol
