First, I did search and I already found what you have posted, and it is much more complicated then I want.
All I want is a way I can link items in chat easily (items I already have on my character). For instance, say I have a ring equipped and I want to link it through chat without having to open my inventory, right click on my ring, and link it. Is there some form of using an /itemnotify command using right click, like /itemnotify InvSlot[rightfinger].ID link, or something like that??
