Patch 6/16/04

After the patch today, when I load MQ2, I get "Incorrect Client Version" and Macroquest doesn't run. I have been running and using MQ2 for about a week and a half successfully so far, so I'm guessing there was something that changed in the patch. Should I wait on updates (and if so, where can I find them) or is there another solution?

This happens all the time. All you can do is just wait for an update.

MQ2 "breaks" every patch eqgame.exe is updated. Unless you know alot about finding offsets, you have to wait for the devs to update the offsets/code and post a new zip.

Every single patch.. someone posts that his MQ2 no longer works and wants to know why.

For the 10,000th time.... When SoE patches EQ, it breaks MQ2.

And everytime SoE patches EQ, someone who refuses to search the forums or read the the other 9999 posts that are exactly like his, posts some message about how MQ2 is broken.

Congrats noob.

I think next time the response to this type of post should be:

"OMG you broke it!"

So do I just wait on an update to the actual zip file for re-compiling, or is there a file update that's released?
