I have been unable to recognize the ' symbol in events
Is there a workaround?

Can you post an example of something not working? In eq a lot of things use ` instead of '.

I know we can use chat events and such, but since I don't know how to use more than one, let's say I want to do something like

#event tell "#1# tells you,'#2#'"

and

#event say "#1# says,'#2#'"

If your examples are pulled from real scripts, your issue might be that there should be a space between the , and the ' in those examples.
