first let me say hello all and boy has mq changed since i left for iraq last year. wow great job devs and everyone else that gave ideas and such. i was just starting to figure out how to write macros last year before i was called away but now im back and looking forward to re-learning the art of macro writing (since i never had the chance to really learn it in the first place). anyway my first question is where do you (experienced and beginners) macro writers start? i have a basic idea of what i want to do written down in what i think is a logical order. now where from here? i have searched others snippets and full macros and have looked through the readme but do you normally use prewritten snippets or just write your own from scratch?

You can look at the readme.chm for info. It is included in the zip file.

most people start learning the code by taking apart others code and trying to add what they want in. when it doesn't work the way they want they take what they have done and post it in this forum.
