FIXED: /click left item

This command no longer seems to work at all. It still clears your target as if the item was picked up, but it never actually is.

Are you referring to the readme.chm? - I searched it, read every reference to /itemnotify and still can't figure it out.

Help me get my head out of my ass. :?

Your head isn't in your ass, don't worry.

/click left item is for picking up groundspawns, and that's not something you can use /itemnotify for.

I haven't tried my groundspawn macros yet, but I do know that my tradeskill macros that target an enviro container like a brew barrel and then use /click left item to open it no longer work :(

From changes.txt - 22 Apr 2004 by Lax:

Code: Select all

- /click functionality has been SEVERELY reduced. It will
 now function given an x,y, and on an item or spawn
 (target). Upgrade to /notify for UI interaction.
 /notify <window> <button screen id> <notification>
 example:
 /notify LootWnd DoneButton leftmouseup
 Window names and control ScreenID's are found in
 the XML files, and are NOT screwed up
 by custom interfaces (unless your UI does not have the button)
So quoth the almighty Lax. This means that what Caladine is trying to do is 'The Right Thing (tm)' as long as the ground item was targetted first.

From MQ2Mouse.cpp lines 109-116

Code: Select all

VOID SendEQMessage(DWORD PacketType, PVOID pData, DWORD Length)
{
	if (!send_message || !EQADDR_GWORLD)
	{
 return;
	}
 send_message(EQADDR_GWORLD,PacketType,pData,Length,TRUE);
}
That line doesn't seem to be having the desired effect, for whatever reason. Maybe the packet type changed /shrug.
