Seems that #event may still be bugged. Made a test macro to check if events were being executed:
#event Testing "Event-working"
Sub Main
:MainLoop
/echo Event-working
/doevents
/goto :Mainloop
/return
Sub Event Testing
/echo Yes
/return
...."Yes" was not being echoed back to me, the sub routine wasn't being executed.

It's not bugged.
Events specifically require that you account for the entire line you are wanting to match. Can you tell me anything that might come before "Event-working" when you use /echo? I think you can

*hint* What is the exact text you saw when you /echo'd that line?

When was this changed? I don't see anything in changes.txt. I have a script I've been working on for a while now, and as of today, events require EXACTLY the text.. ie Including the [MQ2] part in the front..
My events that were firing off yesterday , are no longer working with the 2nd build from 5/12. I can't get a msg like....
You have been slain
to work at all.
All the ones that I'm echo'ing for events to trigger on will work, but i had to stick in the [mq2] in the front of the msg now .
was
#Event BlaBla "My Custom stuff"
today
#Event BlaBla "[MQ2] My Custom stuff"

Oh and from the Change log.
Code: Select all

- Added "Lax/Blech" support to custom events. The Blech system allows much easier parsing of
incoming chat. Custom events will now support more parameters that are automatically
parsed based on the match text.

Sorry, I'm too new to feel the right to flame you. You did well on your own there though.
