I use a pet class toon, i need to know the max distance to a target that pet will run to attack. I am not at mu pc right now to test for my self and i am throwing cation to the winds and just asking if anyone knows. i not i will chack as soon as i get home to test.

First, please learn how to spell. ;p

Second, this is more of an EQ problem than a MQ problem... If you have any mob targeted in zone, and it is a legal target, I would think that /pet attack would work.

spelling is pretty good. typing sucks. and sometimes in to much of a hurry to proof read. but as far as flaws go at least it is not as annoying as bad body oder. /shrug

I see you obviously don't play a pet class much riz... there's definately a range that a pet won't attack. Of course, it DOES remember who you told it to attack, and if it later gets within range of that npc, it will attack them then.

Unfortunately, I don't know the distance...

thanks all. its 195+- distance from pet. for a mage anyway.
i want to be well within that range. 'cause it sucks to get off 2 nuke befor pet hots him

Hmm... I have a druid pet. Im not 55 yet though so..

My monk has a pet.. its called a shaman.

another macro program uses ] to pause a macro. i have no trouble with social except if i am casting. i dont hot key the social though. i use the social button itself

Yeah, Xylobot does have that up on MQ.. the ] command... just not the lame in game voices ::sigh::

Then, if you dare to switch away from EQ while using EQW, you get the wonderful stutter... Lol

MacroQuest is far superior in most areas. Would love to be able to implement COM, though, but it's not a requirement.
