This is a feature of MQ2FPS (also in EQPlayNice) designed to make EQ not use so much of your CPU time when it is in the background. With default FPS and render settings, the background will be RENDERED once a second. The UI, your mouse, your movement, etc still function perfectly and at full speed. If you want it to render 100% of the time, type /render bg 1.- Added command to MQ2FPS:
/render <fg|bg> <#|~#>
Sets the foreground or background rendering rate. This is how many out of n frames MQ2FPS
will allow to be drawn. You keep moving full speed, the client responds to mouse or keys,
the UI is still drawn... but, the world itself will not be drawn as often.
Use with ~ to draw n-1 out of n frames, or without to draw 1 out of n frames.
e.g. /render bg ~3 will draw 2 out of 3 frames. /render bg 3 will draw 1 out of 3 frames.
I was noticing this in PoK last night, but it was already posted. One of the people casting KEI for donations was either half-way in the ground or all the way in the ground with just the name showing (depending on if they were standing or sitting).also everynow and then a mob would be stuck in the ceiling, which no one but me could see, and some times a player would be continually flying up to the ceiling and falling down.

This is EQ. This is happening to people all through out the game. You can zone and zone back and they could be fixed for you. People in groups have been having one or two different members who might not be able to affect a mob due to being in the floor or celling.Chyld989 wrote:What about this part though Lax?I was noticing this in PoK last night, but it was already posted. Is this just some (but clearly not most) users having problems with the new graphic engine implementation?
