Do you have your options set to drop never? That might cause an issue with the macro as when the mac issues the /drop command the item just pops back on your cursor.
As for item casting thats odd, it worked fine for me when I was testing it out and debugging. Unless you do not have your fishermans companion in an open inventory slot, ie NOT in a bag.

Seems like in my adding extra stuff i messed soomething up . your code is nice . ty much . I dont know why you u choose to drop everythin on the ground i added for those items to be destroyed and also to echo destroy's and saves back to (macro window) .
Code: Select all
Sub ItemSub
/for LC 1 to ${DAS}
/if (${Cursor.Name.Find[${DA[${LC}]}]}) {
/echo Destroying ${Cursor.Name}
/destroy
/delay 2s
/return

Yes, you technically could use regular fishing poles. If you really want to do it, look at Proects' swap.mac and either cut and paste it into your macro or turn it into an inculde file. Use it to swap the fishing poles into your primary inventory slot.
If you are level 55+ or know where the bazaar is, however, I would strongly suggest just looking up the
Fisherman's Companion Quest. You need a couple from PON and POJ along with a little fishing skill to turn those fish into bones. It's rediculously simple and worth the time, honestly.

It seems when using this, your character will drop to the char selection screen if you run out of bait. Has this happened to anyone else?
May the eclipse of your soul never fade to light!

Yes, when I wrote the original(pre conversion) that was what I intended. I wanted it to camp out once out of bait. If you don't want it to you can change the out of bait event.
