Is there a replacement for /itemtarget - /click left item?

Need some help with that macro you're working on or aren't quite sure how to get your macro to do something? Ask here!

Is there a replacement for /itemtarget - /click left item?

The subject says it all. I'm trying to get rid of all the /click commands as I'm converting my macros. If i target an item such as a ground spawn or a tradeskill container with the /itemtarget command I'm currently using /click left item to pick up the ground spawn or open the container. Is there a way to do this without using /click? I've searched the forums and experimented with other commands but still haven't been able to figure it out.

nope. To interact with your target (be it an item, a forge, whatever) you still need to use /click, and this is one of the sole reasons /click is sticking around.
