has anyone noticed or can confirm i am not insane but it seems that in almost every single zone if you type /who npc there is atleast 1 npc with the name GM now ...

It seems some Original EQ mobs are called GM Level 61 mobs... Brother Qwinn in South Karana is like that...

those i believe are the ones you right click to get some training.. not guides/pc gm's (ones you would wanna worry about).
not sure why every zone would have one but most cities will and i think a bunch of luclin zones do too.

/who npc gm and /who gm and /who all gm are massively different commands too..

GM as an npc means 'Guild Master' ie, guild master for the rogue class....

as lizard said NPC GM'S are "Guild Masters"
and it's also not a very good idea to attack them either
