Experiencing CTD (no error) when using commands such as this
Code: Select all
/ctrl /itemnotify ${FindItem[=Enchanted Silver Bar].InvSlot} leftmouseup
does the same if i use w/o the /ctrl as well, anyone experienced this or know what might be causing it?

Yeah even after getting SP6 for VS6 I still CTD on itemnotify. Haven't been able to get the debug information yet though. When I tried it stopped on the ctd but all I could get was the call stack and the line ecoing that I sent a item notify, no dissasebly information shows up.

might I ask what the ParseMouseLoc has to do with this?

It allowed me to use the old /click code instead of relying upon /itemnotify?

Get Service Pack 6, debug it. I wouldnt rely on /click

Ok. Lemme see if I can give some more detail on this.
I am using VC++6 with SP6. (I downloaded, ran installer, and rebooted, but it doesn't show up as installed on Help/About VC++. How do I verify it's installed?)
I am using the latest April 23 2004 09:13:09 zip.
I am using /itemnotify merchant2 rightmouseup for instant CTD
and while in ${Merchant.Open} I use /itemnotify pack1 rightmouseup for another CTD.
The error is : First-chance exception in eqgame.exe:0XC0000005 Access Violation.
Since the error is in Eqgame, the disassembly and stack call look damn unhelpful to me.
Here's the stack call:
0000014f()
117d6e38()
Here's the disassembly:
0000014D ???
0000014E ???
0000014F ??? <--- Yellow arrow here
00000150 ???
00000151 ???
00000152 ???
00000153 ???
