Crashing for Apparently No Reason

Post by IamSpecial » Thu Apr 15, 2004 4:34 pm

Alright, I've read the manual, and to the best of my knowledge, I can't find any solution to my problem there or in any other posts made to these boards so here it goes. I run MQ2 then i load up eq. I get to the character selection screen and the mq chat window is there, i try to log onto my character. It loads the world, but before i enter it, i get booted back to the server selection screen. Any ideas?

Have you run the EQ patcher?

Yes, right after i compiled and installed MQ2, i tried to run eq but got that "Incorrect Client Version" so i ran the patching program and then ran eq again and the message didn't come up anymore, but now i get booted back to the server selection screen after trying to log my character into the world... BTW i use EQ Windows but i get the same problem when using the normal eq client.

And have you tried it without MQ2?
