Losing mouse functionality...

Okay guys, here's a quick question you might be able to help me with.
I've recently leveled a shaman on another account, and I want to be able to play him at the same time I play my main by running another instance of EQ and just using tells to tell the bot what to do.

The macros and everything are all setup, but when using the default windowed mode that EQ comes with, when I alt + shift + r to release the mouse out of my shammy's window, it seems that mouse input doesn't work at all. I was just wondering, does EQW allow you to run an instance of EQ minimized and still keep all the mouse functionality? I can't exactly ask on the EQW boards.

Anyway, thanks a lot for any responses in advance. :D

EQW lets macros run in the minimized widows, otherwise your macros will pause till the window is restored.

From my experience MQ never pauses the macro when you window out of EQ without EQW. I run my fishing script constently while I code or websearch new quests and I also don't run eqw. I have noticed, however, that any macro I use containing a /mouseto or /click command must have the eq window active.

I always assumed this was because the keyboard input (you pressing the keys) is 'sent' to a program running in the windows GUI enviroment while the mouse ran 'over all' the programs, able to effect active and inactive windows.... or something like that. I'm too tired to think of a way to type it

Point being? I dunno... maybe I'm just hoping to give Lax another chance to swear and lock a thread

ok clearification, without EQW tabing/minizing whatever to the other eq window will cause the pause. Sorry it's not an issue of leaving to any other window but an issue going to a second EQ window as part of the 2 boxing the origonal post described.
