Hi- I posted yesterday morning, in Macro Help forum, with a macro I neede help on. Someone was kind enough to respond, and I posted my revised macro after following his advice. Yesterday afternoon, my posts and his reply were deleted from the boards. I posted asking why my posts had been deleted, and that post got deleted, too. Please at least tell me what rule my post was breaking? Or why it got deleted? Usually board admins at least have the decency to edit a post blank and then state the reason why it was deleted. Mine have disappeared without a trace, or explanation.

All macros that are posted that pose a threat to the project (mainly money making macros that make over 500pp/hr and some very highly advanced money making macros) are removed from the boards to try and insure that verant does not try to actively track and ban MQ users. Thank you, despite the fact your macro was removed, for your support and use of MacroQuest.

Thanks - all I wanted was a reason why it was removed.

Kudos on a fine program - I'm sure I can work out the macro eventually

Best bet is to ask for help on portions of the macro... like "can anyone help me debug this Sub BuyItem"...

Once I knew I had to do it on my own, I did it. Had it working correctly within 15 minutes. It becomes so much easier to not apply yourself and learn what you need to know when you feel like you have people to just answer your questions. I think in reality, it's easier to just learn it for yourself in the first place. Did that make sense? =)

It is fun to learn it for yourself.. use EQW and notepad and debug the hell out of it :)

2 PC's - Shared MQ folder. Edit on the fly on other PC. More reliable than EQW =)

This TextPad addon that was made might be useful for editing too
