EQW Fixed!!!

Post by Bombadil » Wed Mar 24, 2004 11:03 pm

http://www.eqwindows.com/

But it looks like now MQ2 will need to be updated to work with it. Currently game crashes at character select if you activate MQ2.

EDIT:
Lax has posted the solution for this. Diable MQ2FPS in your macroquest.ini until he updates the module to work with the new EQW.

the eqw was pretty buggy for me. on one pc, it was really dark gamma, unable to adjust, but, on the other pc, with the same vid card it was fine.

Try pressing alt + enter in eqw, it usually resets any gamma problems for me. Happens every now and then when closing first instance and having second left open, screen will get dark. Alt + Enter, then adjust as normal. So glad eqw working!!! ^^;;

Ladders? If that's all you got stuck on then, good for you =)

How many of you got stuck on hills, in the EC tunnel or even on what appeared to be perfectly flat land with no Z axis adjustements at all...and don't get me started on how even the smallest steps were like climbing the ones in Kael.

The life of a shorty I suppose.

Oh, yeah - I spent a good ten minutes trying to get myself up that last three inches up the slope on the lighthouse rock in Gunthak - I'm just glad I didn't get stuck like my new Iksar Shadowknight...8*P :evil:

Then again, I wouldn't be so Cranky, otherwise.
Okay, okay, I take it back - "UnF--k you."

you get a satanic message.”
“That's nothing, if you play it forward,
it installs WinXP.”
