Just wondering if anyone can help me please on some /mapfilter commands. I was typing them in like /mapfilter all show /mapfilter npc show etc etc and when i hit my map im not seeing anything. no npc's or pc let alone most of my map, so yeah i messed up somewhere. is there a /command that i can use to erase all ive typed in or is it just best for me to log out restart and re do?

Also, your settings, if correct, will be stored in a MQ2map.ini file.

aye that is where i was looking for a solution thank you tho, i tried usuing the /commands from that site you posted and im still not getting a result so i dunno if i need to just reboot or what first time ive had an issue with seeing the results of my commands i also dbl checked to see if any had changed with new patch and tried those while using the /mapfilter help command oh well im sure ill figure it out sooner or later

LOL yea i have mq2 loaded. At first after i was typing in commands i was fine. then when i tried /mapfilter spawnradius 1000 it gave me a /mapfilter help/option text so i was like ok maybe they changed that. i also got that on /mapfilter concolor show. so i looked at the forum area here http://macroquest2.com/main.php?p=manual#m but the commands were relativily the same. so i went back to game and typed /mapfilter help i got a whole string of commands most of which to be honest i didnt quit understand what they do so i had to look them up. anywho long story short im trying to see if there is a /command to start over again, i tried a few other commands to refresh etc, but now i cant see any npc or pc's on my map let alone targets concolors a spawnradius etc. So i know i typed something wrong but i have no clue what i did. so im trying to figure how to wipe the slate clean and start over as tho i just repatched and uploaded MQ2 and EQ.

Another question: Do you have layer 2 enabled on the map? All the MQ2Map lines and labels are drawn on layer 2. If you have that turned off, you won't see anything.

Also, you can type just /mapfilter to get the status of all the filters the plugin has.

try typing /mapfilter all show on

my map has Base 1 2 3 enabled and Active 1 enabled if that helps any

this is what i tried typing when i logged back in after repatching last night

/mapfilter all show
/mapfilter npc show
/mapfilter concolor show
/mapfilter spawnradius 1000
/mapfilter pc show

spawnradius i got a help/option msg and i also got a help/option msg on concolor i looked those up seemed to be the same on the forum i posted above. also checked /mapfilter help they were slightly different according to the help section. now i tried to also type this cause i thought this might be a refresher this also might have been my problem:
/mapfilter custom 1000 (thinking this was the new spawnradius)
tried to turn it off according to directions by typing
/mapfilter custom 0 and /mapfilter omit
Also tried /mapfilter TargetRadius # (also thinking well maybe this is the spawn radius...once again nothing also tried turning it off with the /mapfilter targetradius 0 and omit

yes. i also did my usual /mapfilter all show it would toggle off and on again but didnt do anything for my map. according to a friend they are both the same commands since they both did the same thing.

Ok ... time for the stupid questions ...

1) What zone are you in while trying these commands?
2) Did you purchase the LoY expansion? (The map will not work in a few starting/city zones w/o LoY but will not work in most)

ok im trying my commands in various zones to be sure not to get lag (ie PoK or Baz major lag)

and i have ALL expansions enabled.
lets see what else..my fav colour is Pink and i like to go for walks on the beach and love a man who likes to be romantic....hmmm (lol sorry j/k)

ok i re deleted MQ2 and re re patched (rofl) i re typed my commands in and wheeee! they work! well all except one.../mapfilter spawnradius #
so i have re re re re re (times a million) looked at the help forums and manuals to see for an update and i dont see one...SO if anyone happens to know what the new /command is for /mapfilter spawnradius # that would be SOOPER!
