Hotkeys and typing in a window

I have a question that I was not able to answer in search. I have seen alot of talk about GM's being able to see text in non-MQ windows.

My question is whether or not they can see hotkeys or what you type in the EQ windows or just the output? Does MQ parse the input text before it is sent to the client, or should I always type the text into the MQ window to be safe?

If a GM wanted to see what was going on with your client, they could.

Most users don't even rate that kind of inspection. You can make hotkeys with MQ commands in them, that won't matter. As long as you don't go /petition'ing shit after you start using MQ, you should be fine.

And don't do stupid things like AFK macro. It kills dolphins. Or in the immortal words of my mentor.

"Everytime you AFK macro, an angry ninja chops off a kittens head."
