Need some help after compiling newest MQ2...

Ive been running MQ2 for about 2 months now. Using genbot.mac to run 4 of my 5 chars. everything has been running awesome, has made my gaming much more enjoyable.

I had been using the Christmas 2003 version. I upgraded to the newest zip today ...

and now any of my botted characters that are in a minimized EQW or not in the foreground, lag- 5-6 seconds before they respond to a command, or in the case of my cleric autoheal comes almost too late.

As long as the EQW is the main focus it runs fine.

So im wondering , anyone have some suggestions? And also is there a way i can disable EQCPU from the main MQ2? Because i think thats whats causing the lag. Because if i remember correctly the christmas version had something with the EQCPU broken.

This happens on all 3 of my PC's. And it was working fine up to the day before the patch.

anyway any help appreciated.

Doh I completely missed your post when looking and posted a new post with the exact same problem as you. I've been using the christmas Dec 25 MQ2 and it was working great. Every version since has had a huge delay on all but the foreground window with the latest version of EQ Windows.

I've tried unloading the mq2fps plugin but that doesn't really help much, same with unloading mq2map and mq2itemdisplay. Probably should have brought this up earlier but was content to just run the Dec25 release and wasn't thinking ahead to this patch.

I'm thinking it has to do with EQW and the changes being made to require Dx9 in EQ in the near future.
