Who is giving warp to the PoK idiot?

There is a guy warping all over Katta and Sanctus Seru, oblivious and obvious. Please see previous posts about the 'PoK' sillyness we had earlier - Get ready for another emergency patch..

If they fix it it won't affect MQ in any way that I can think of, since MQ doesn't come with that.

Well we've been through this before, but it does affect MQ - obviously the offsets are not part of MQ - it just makes MQ look bad and draws attention to the project. The guy is obviously macroing in plain view, and the noobtards over on EQLive will cry foul at, you guessed it, MacroQuest.

Not really a big deal, but the guy who is giving this fool a 1. warp offset, 2. a plat macro and 3. macroquest could at least code in something less obvious. I mean really, you got all 3 parts to work, why not add a few more lines to the macro so you don't WARP right inside the FORGE for christsakes.

And as an aside, I'm not macroing plat, I use SEQ and it's obvious to me when people are doing this. I don't know how to approach an AFK macroer, and I don't report people. Probably because #1, who am i to tell someone else what to do, and #2 Sony won't do shit about it anyways.

Beh, sorry bout the rant. Back to work.

yeah, i find it odd that people have access to a warp offset hack and have/write a afk macro, yet are unable to put in a damn distance chcecker for closest pc, its a pretty easy thing to add if you are risking afk macroing, and one of the first things you should put in an afk macro

What makes you think someone is giving that party anything? Not everyone is inept at programming/dependent upon others.

While it is annoying when people make it obvious they are hacking, there have been enough "omg, stop using mq this way" on these forums.

People either get it or they don't. Don't come here and bitch. /petition them. IMO, if someone is using the tools irresponsibly they deserve it.

This is 'MacroQuest Forum Index -> MQ2::General', I'm here to bitch a little ;)

I get what you say, and I almost agree - You can't change them, and you shouldn't be able to.. ..still it just looks so faulking sloppy..

/petition Yeah Hi, While I was watching my SEQ Screen I saw this guy blatenty use the warp offset, I think he's using MQ too

That'll go well...

How about placing some Anti-Warp Code in MQ (making MQ stop working when it detects warping)... this should work exept the guy/gal know how to code. ;)

Then someone would make an Anti-Anti-Warp patch. Good idea, but doesn't solve the problem of "idiot-at-the-wheel".

..Although, thats a good idea to add in my paranoia-loop. If for some reason you are summoned by a GM to the aqueducts or whatnot, the "warp" that happened could trigger an /unload macroquest function and stop any /endmacro fumbling. Hmm, that sounds good.

Well.... I have figured out warp. And I can tell you that there is no way to write anti warp code into MQ (at least the way I am doing it)

I would also tell you that no one gave me the time of day when I was trying to figure this out. No help whatsoever.

It is possable that the moron in question got no help either.

Dude, who cares if you figured out warp. I'm not talking about "preventing" a warp from happening, I'm talking about the very easy test to see if you have been warped, as in, been summoned.

Good job doing something on your own without annoying people.

Do you think, after all that effort, all that care and attention to detail - traits that I believe are needed to figure out everything needed to develop a warping pp macro, that you would, in fact, look like such a f ucking idiot and warp in plain view in front of everybody?

Possible, yes. Unlikely though. Someone was feeding the tards.

Yeah, warping is bad. When I afk macro my pp exploit, I at least run from point A to B.

Thank you, cronic!

I do the same.. when I'm running my exploit(s), I walk from point a to point b, farming silks and other such things...

We all know where warp-for-the-masses came from.
