Not yet...I guess it's some sort of bug.

You can /betabuff berserker 65, but you restart right back to the lvl 1 char you created.

I assume they are working on it, but I haven't heard yet.

Cannot betabuff a berzerker. Kinda completely worthless atm. Because nothing works for them. No weapons, no equipment. Nothing is tag for berserker so, they cannot use.

But my hand to hand skill sure is going up. hehe

I got beta....but, then I was frustrated when I couldn't figure out how to get to the new zones so I stopped ...lol. Anyone want to clue me in?

I think it's stupid to test something and have to DISCOVER shit like how to get from point to point.

Jaggedpine forest->Nedaria's Landing

I want in but I'm sort of hibernating waiting for them to open registration again

I got into the beta as well. Haven't been able to try (can't create them, don't know how others did) Berserker yet but have talked to some people who are playing them. They said they are based on 2H Slashing and Throwing mostly. They added a bunch of items earlier today that Berserkers can wear.

As for the new zones. Go register with the Wayfarer's camps, go to a Magus at a camp and say 'Nedaria'. You will be ported to Nedaria's Landing. Once there, look for a Barbarian guy on the docks, I think he is called "Wayfarer Member" or something like that. Hail him and he will tell you which zones he will port you too, he works just like the Magus' do.

to access the zones, go to home town to flag up for ldon, then hit a camp and go to ned's landing.

Alternatively you can just travel to jagged pine and zone in behind the gnoll throne.

Once in nae landing there's like a green con wayfaring scout (think that's it's name).. hail him and you can go to abysmal or a wacky name.

Abysmal is the giant boat and as far as I know you cannot leave there unless you talk to the wayfaring scout in that zone... it's the town/quest place I guess.

The wacky name zone is like kos on arrival if people trained so use invis.

nuff said. nda and all.

To create a berzerker:
Select a race: Troll, Ogre, Barbarian, Dorf, Vah Shir
Click on that race until NO class is highlighted
Input name, add stats, click next
Head to EF with your new Zerker, get in a raid, get lvl 65 in an hour

Edit: Forgot Vah Cheese

Wish it worked.

I don't have the beta, so I can't actually use that method. Sucks when you do it, get it all setup, and then get a blank window with an OK button at the bottom that won't let you go any further..

That nice Vah Shir Zerker I made just couldn't be used. Ah well.

I got into Beta. It seems like they've done something with the graphic engine. Graphical lag is actually less with Clip Plane at 100. But, on that note, I couldn't get anything with the graphics to work right. Most of my textures (walls, players, ground, etc) were either completely invisible or showed up as plain wait. This was in PoK mind you. So, after trouble shooting it for an hour, I gave up and went back to normal EQ. If the graphic changes carry over after GoD is released, and you get to 'take advantage' of them regardless of whether or not you have purchased GoD for that account, I'll have to quit EQ. Or get a new video card/mb ... tough decision really.

In beta but have not played on it much. For about a week i would run the BetaPatcher and patch through EQW and log on beta, but instead of getting to char select I got booted to server select again. Tried through normal EQ application and still got it. Doesn't bother me much because they copied over the wrong toon on my account and I got to look at the new Warrior AA which is pretty much all I wanted.
