Nice work on MQ2! A mad props thread.

Howdy all. I am a developer from the Excalibur project for DAOC and I've just started playing EQ on New Year's day. I've compiled and installed MQ2 and I just have the need to tell you what a wonderful job you've done. The interface is fantastic, functionality is amazing and I'm really enjoying all the extra information that I have at my disposal now. Thanks for all the work you've put into this project.
I've also got to laugh at all the RTFM posts. If we could collectively invent a device that would allow me to reach out across the Internet and grab the guy posting question #1 from the FAQ for the fifth time on forum page 1 by the back of the head and slam his face into the keyboard... ooh I just got a chill.
Anyways, thanks again for the great application!

Okay. This guy I like already.
First off, he ALREADY compiled the executable. Second off, he's a developer on another type of program for a different game. Albeit, it's only DAoC (which I don't have a like for for some god-awful reason.) but hey, it's work nonetheless.
Third off, he has good grammar, spelling, and diction.
Can we keep him?

but hes right. MQ2 is hot! i like the little MacroQuest 2004 new years thing lol.. Busted a gut when i saw that.. All the developers names on the iconz n stuff

Well if there's one thing I love that's not directed at MQ2, I sooo feel the RTFM comments and can relate to the utter stark mad ravings of Lax on the subject.

Some person dev'd this project almost solo for it's first year driven by those complements =)

This program rocks. Been playing eq since 2000. Never knew how to get ahold of the hacks till about 2002 (didn't know the names/couldn't get anyone to tell me). Then i stumbled onto SEQ when searching the web for EQ recipes and guides. Tried SEQ for a while and it sucked...always crashed...although in SEQ's defense it was during the unkept period. Then i found MQ2...just last week. Downloaded, compiled and ran for the first time last night...OMFG this programs rocks. I love it. MAJOR Kudos to the developers and all the macro programmers out there. Keep up the good work.
