OK, i have updated my guide. When you are doing this, make sure you read the step ahead, it's my first guide and it's a lil choppy... OK, now for your problem... you say it pops up in a different window, how so? OK, real quick...

Register w/ VS.net.

Open up server in a window, minimize it.

Download the file offa site on YOUR desktop.

Extract.

Double click MQ2auth.exe.

Select EVERYTHING in the file.

Send To compressed file.

Take the compressed file outta the other file.

Use www.sendthisfile.com to send compressed file to your e-mail(I made you register and use it earlier, thats the upgrade).

Open the window with the server.

Go to your e-mail w/ Internet explorer.

Download file to desktop(there is a different one, the one you use is the one on top of places to download it to).

Extract all files.

Double click MQ2auth.exe.

Double click MacroQuest2.sln.

Select Release.

Go to Build menu, select Batch build.

Wait till finished, close program(NOT THE SERVER WINDOW).

Open the file.

Select all the files.

Send to a compressed file.

Put compressed file on desktop.

Open internet explorer, go to www.sendthisfile.com

Send new compressed file to your e-mail.

CLOSE SERVER WINDOW!!(Yay!!)

Go to your e-mail.

Download file to your desktop.

Extract all.

Open Folder, open "Release" folder.

Double click MacroQuest2.

Have Fun!!

/bump was reading through this and tried it. First problem was that VS.net is no longer a site? Well tried to skip that and just go on but ran into my next prob after sending the file to myself the first time then DLing it after I extracted it is was a .ace instead of .exe and from there on the guide meant nothing since I could not do the next steps. Anyone have suggestions on a VS.net has it moved. Now that I think about it I sure hope it a website or I am really going to look like a idiot.

P.S. Go easy on me

Here's a suggestion.
1. Dont post on 6-month old threads
2. Follow the rules of the forums
The rules of the forums clearly state before you even come ot the forums that you need to follow instructions to post in the Help forums, and if they do not get followed, you'll be banned
3. I can only assume that you posted on a 6-month old thread because you tried to post a new thread and didnt want to follow the rules. I dont like to ban people, come on now.
