after the new patch i get an error saying
Incorrect client version:

any way to fix this problem?

You will have to wait until the new offsets and structures are updated. Go read a book.

This always cracks me up. After a patch people are amazed that MQ/MQ2/SEQ/EQEmu break.
If eqgame.exe gets patched, you can be 99% sure that things are broken.

Offsets are posted here on the board already, but the structs need to be fixed before MQ will work properly. People also haven't had a chance yet to check to see if mem checkers, etc have changed or if any added security has been added as the servers just came up.

Only the Ini Offsets have been posted in MQ2 they moved the majority of the offsets into the eqgame.h file which hasn't been posted that I have seen yet. Once they do that you will have to recompile MQ2.
Once they get the offsets then someone will convert them for MQ1 users but if the structs change alot the MQ1 will be forced to upgrade to MQ2 since MQ1 is no longer supported. Someone will drag it along tho hehe

Yes thegr, youll have to recompile after MQ2 is fixed and released from the download page. If a friend compiled it for you then just contact your friend for a re compile.
