Be sure to run MQ2auth.exe before you compile..

ok.... I re-copied all the Source files.... Ran MQ2auth.exe...... then I went into Visual C++ 6.0 and went to BUILD.....Set Active Configuration ....MQ2Main is selected ...... back to BUILD and then Build MQ2main.dll (F7) ... then to Batch Build.... in Batch Build I have all the following selected: MQ2Chat, MQ2ChatWnd, MQ2FPS, MQ2ItemDisplay, MQ2Labels, MQ2Main, MQ2Maps, MQ2Telnet, MQ2Template
and I still keep crashing to Server Select Screen
I have never had this issue till I complied the Source posted on 11/25

Try edit Macroquest.ini and remove mq2fps=mq2fps line and try..
Try each of the plugins and see what crashes you.

ok I figured it out...
it isnt MQ2 that is causing it... it is the EQCPUInj that is causing me to crash... I am using the verson released on 11/25

Yeah, we've been reporting it to Lax. Now we just have to wait to see if he needs more info from us, or if he's working on it as we speak. Well, between real life and coffee, that is.

why not build the EQCPUInj as a plugin? =)

Uhhh.. EQCPU specifically says, do not run this with MQ. It is built into MQ. That's what MQ2FPS plugin is.
If this is the problem you're reporting on the EQCPU threads quit using both.
