Cannot Compile from latest Source!

Post by KhaosWolf » Wed Oct 29, 2003 8:54 pm

--------------------Configuration: eqlib - Win32 Release--------------------
Compiling resources...
E:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VC98\MFC\INCLUDE/afxres.h(17) : fatal error RC1015: cannot open include file 'winres.h'.
Error executing rc.exe.

macroquest.exe - 1 error(s), 0 warning(s)

I've compiled MQ at least a 100 times, same thing everytime. Active configuration is set to Win32 - release version, and i select build macroquest.exe

Any help would be appreciated!

I am using Microsoft Visual C++

Found a workaround

Post by KhaosWolf » Thu Oct 30, 2003 8:31 am

For anyone that gets this same problem, i've found a work-around, for lack of a better word.

I did a search on my hard drive to find the file winres.h, once I found it I placed it where dkaa points out and everything worked fine.

Weird though, I never had problems before
