you got lucky.. at the beginning of september i got banned only for having MQ loaded. I wasn't even macroing, i was in PoK walking around waiting for a friend to make a transfer when i get a tell from a GM-Admin asking me if it was worth the risk.. i asked what he was talking about and he said to me ( i dont remeber the exact words since i dont have the logs..)Jaerin wrote:That's IMHO, and you should know that I'm currently temp suspended pending banning and I still say this...:)

I seriously doubt the guides and GM's have access to or knowledge of the financial aspects of your account, ie, how the acct is paid for. I wouldn't think they could tell any difference between an acct being paid for via Visa, or Amer Express, or game cards.I wonder if they are more likely to ban someone using a game card...
Actually I think GM admins do have (some of) this access. I know of a recent investigation in which the GMs found an account that had been used to hold items/cash that had been stolen from a friend of mine. (My friend foolishly shared the account information with many people).I seriously doubt the guides and GM's have access to or knowledge of the financial aspects of your account, ie, how the acct is paid for. ..of course it would suck if they banned every account using the same address. I've got 4 accounts (one for everyone in the family) under my name.

We should all know the risks, if we don't then we definately deserve to get screwed. The Fucking Manual wrote:MacroQuest2 is a third party program which reduces repetitiveness and enhances the functionality of EverQuest.
MacroQuest2 is as useful as you wish to make it. You can utilize it just for the capabilities of the map and other plugins, or you can further enhance EverQuest through the use of macros or designing your own plugin.
However, there are some issues you need to understand:
First and foremost, the use of MacroQuest2 is a violation of the EULA of EverQuest.
This means that if you do not use MacroQuest2 sensibly, you risk your character being suspended for a period of time, or in extreme cases, having your character permanently banned.
If you are not prepared for such circumstances, stop here and do not continue.
