im reading the readme file in the release folder.
so i got to the telnet part, so get PuTTY the telnet client.
the readme tells me to start a session in telnet and connect to the system.
I need an ip or a hostname to which im supposed to connect to, where do i get one? and im supposed to use port: 4569?

I think you can use "localhost" in the IP number field of Putty if you start it on the same PC as you play EQ on, but i have not tried that.

If you have 2 PC's, then you can use the IP number of the PC to connect from PC2. To find your local IP number (if your behind a router) type "ipconfig" in the cmd / dos window or go to www.whatismyip.com. What port you use is entirely up to you. 4569 works.

That would not work if you are behind a router/firewall that is NATing, you'd get the IP address of your router/firewall.

If your running on the net without a firewall, well you've go bigger problems than trying to figure out your IP. 8)
