Macro saving auto added .txt

Post by Losingteam » Wed Jun 18, 2003 12:52 pm

I had no problems with my old computer aving macros. But my new comp is a windows xp (which I dont like)...But Anyways...When I save the macro I typed in Twist.mac.......BUT...It made it Twist.mac.txt. And no matter how I try and rename it or save it it won't get rid of the .txt on it. Any help?

In the save dialog save it as "twist.mac" with the quotes. That will keep it from adding the .txt to the end. This has been the practice of Microsoft for a long time. Not just WinXP. Which in my opinion is probably the best, most stable, os of the windows os's.

That is once you turn off all the frilly bubbly theme crap and basically set it to the classic look and feel.

Thanks bunches. Now the only prblem is the macro I got doesnt work. LOL. All while. Time to find a different Twist.mac...Yea. I loved WinME's look and most of its functionality. WinXP looked girlly until I made it look like WinME. :)

PS: Anyone got a bard twist that works for all lvls. :) I will keep searching the forums for a good one.
