Need help on my druid PL bot macro

Post by SaberX » Mon May 26, 2003 10:14 pm

Hi all,
Im kinda new to the whole macroquest thing. I successfully compiled it yesterday and am now in the process of writing my first macro. Its a Druid Powerleveling bot. Ive done a lot of reading, and am no stranger to programming, so I think i have a good grasp of most things.
However, im having one problem. I want to make it so that the druid can tell when a buff wears off on the PowerLevelee. I was thinking of making it an event sub, but then realized that im not sure if buffs wearing off message are shown to everyone or just to the character. I suppose I could use timers for each and every buff, but that seems tedious. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
Also, of course, my finished Macro will go into the Macro Depot, so that everyone can enjoy it. THanks again!

Use two scripts, one for the druid, one for the newb. The newb script can send a tell to the druid script when a buff wears off.
MQ2: Think of it as Evolution in action.

or make use of the timer vars, set them to the durration of each buff you cast on powerlevelee and in your main loop recast if the timer is <=0.
