Timer events and 3 other things

Post by compuboy » Sat May 17, 2003 8:25 pm

Ok, 4 things that i dont quite understand

1) i hear all about these sub event_timer things, but i never have been able to figure out how they are set of and what timer they are bound to or how to adjust that.

2) what variable is something stored to when you do something like /macro something.mac *string*. Where does *string* get stored to.

3) how do you grab commands out of, say, a tell... like for use in a bot macro.

4) is there any way you could get macroquest to work in EQ as far as movement is concerned while another program is active while EQ is windowed. for instance like an AIM window.

Thanks in advance for you help and advice. I know it will aid me greatly.

Hello:

1) /varset t1 10
/bla bla bla
/if n $t1==0 /bla bla bla

2) the variable is $p0 then $p1 $p2 ecc

3) adding befor your sub main
#Event Loading "LOADING, PLEASE WAIT..."
and at the very bottom
Sub Event_Loading
/endmacro
/return

4) it do it normally, if i run the noclickhunt macro, then put eq in background and start use another program , the macro still run and do the thing.

Thanks much for your help, but you still didn't explain how sub even_timer works, do you replace timer with like t1 or whatever you used?

thanks again
