What CVS program for Windows to use?

Post by Wishbringer » Mon May 05, 2003 3:44 am

All went fine for months...
But now am owner of a new AthlonXP3000+(Barton), new nForce2-Board and so on...
means, i reinstalled all.

Before, i had source for MQ (2003-03-08) and got updates via Web-interface from CVS... simple download of new files.

Now i want to use programs like WinCVS or TortoiseCVS or something else.
But what program?
Tested TortoiseCVS and WinCVS and have two problems:
1. Included binaries (*.lib) in CVS becomes corrupted
2. When changing text-files with an editor and saving them they lost all LFs....

Is there a better CVS proggy around (free maybe)?
or do i just have to change a not-found-till-now-option in proggies to get it fixed?

I tested 3-4 (can't remember all of them)

But i found that TortoiseCVS var the easiest one to use (ok, i admit it. Could't get the others to work at all)

It's works perfectly here....

WinCVS works fine, but you have to set the download unix text option in the preferences/global tab
