One of the first scripters. Hows the group holding out? Took me forever to remember my damn forum password. I haven't been on in almost a year. Source only now huh? Guess its a good thing I'm in college as a computer programmer ^_^
Stopped by to check out if the scene was still even alive, glad to know its still pumping...but irc room seem very dead compared to the one I remember.
Long Live MacroQuest and its Community!

Hiya Goge!
Big things you missed:
Plazmic dissapeared and never came back, L124RD and a few others took it over.
(As you've noticed) MQ is now source-only for some odd reason.
/click still doesn't work with the NewUI (shocked, aren't you?)
SOE put in anti-hacking code that broke MQ, which has been fixed (and is why they went source-only I guess)
Anyway welcome back. MacroQuest is probably mainly used for some of the enhanced commands and some simple scripts and the bots, but all the complicated tradeskill macros that yeilded argueable profit are broken, since you can only click combine once per second now.

Tradeskill macros are broken because /click does not work with the New UI. I never found one that made a profit anyway... not that I looked that hard.
MQ was made "source only" to try to reduce it's user base, or at least limit it to folks who might do more than download the binaries and a few macros and go to town. In other words, since you have to make an effort to use MQ you might make more of an effort to contribute to its development, or at least write a few macros of your own. Still debatable whether or not this will have the desired effect.
L124RD can apparently get hold of Plaz if he needs to....

Salutations,
Welcome back. Plazoo Doesn't play EQ anymore (so I've heard) therefor I can get him if I try, but he doesn't respond just kinda does what I asked I guess (being admined). Welcome back again Goge.

Don't suppose you can ask him about that fix for /click he was working on? Maybe a copy of his new /click code?

Didn't know who, if anyone, was working on it. I've been poking and prodding at it, working from the DirectX angle, but no real progress.

Plaz doesn't respond just does whatever you ask? Whoa, ask him to send me money!!! Then ask him to... nevermind.
One of those examples of "funny in my head, stupid out loud"
