MacroQuest allows someone to automate some Everquest commands. I have a friend who is disabled. He is able to play a bard in the EQ world by running one of 6 scripts that "twists" bard songs. There is no way he could play as well as an abled bodied player without MQ. With MQ he is as good as any bard I have played with.
Your own experiance? Depends on what you want to do.

I understand that at some point we were all new to this place...but....I can't remember when I've seen a more completely lazy, totally useless post that less deserved a legitimate answer.
Sheesh.

Exactly. That's what it does.
It does NOT: boost your speed, make you invulnerable, let you port at will, etc, etc.
This isn't a "hacking" program. It is a way to automate certain tedious processes and let your computer do them for you. Do a couple hundred combines in a row when working on a trade skill and you'll see the reason behind it.
More to the point, it allows people with physical disabilities to do things they wouldn't normally be able to do. Many of the users are able to play bards and twist songs where they would never be able to if MQ weren't there to help overcome physical limitations.
If you are looking for "god mode", go someplace else. If you are looking for an edge for PvP, go somewhere else. Sure, MQ gets used for that, but that is NOT what it was intended for.
On the other hand, if you are tired of clicking the same buttons over and over for a tradeskill, or you can't play a bad because arthritis keeps you from twisting, take a look around and we'll try our best to help you.
