i can see the mq2 latest updates on character screen, but when i login mq2 chat windows isnt here. doing /plugin mq2chatwnd does nothing. my Macroquest.ini shows mq2chatwnd=1
i tried changeing my resolution thinking the window is offscreen somewhere but no luck. i can't load plugins from normal chat. I need help getting this window up

delete MQ2ChatWnd.ini and try again. Make sure you have write permission to your everquest\uifiles stuff (actually i think it's the updates window that injects or does something wonky there so you're probably ok). Try pressing "." (default bind to type to that window) in case it's auto-faded or something. I can't think of anything else off the top of my head if mq2 is otherwise working normally.

UI layouts are saved in your game directory as UI_charname_servername.ini and only get updated if you completely camp out and quit, but the ChatWnd should be showing as early as character select iirc.
