A few strange things happened to me last night in eq. I just wanted to post them in case it’s anything that someone needs to know.

1. I crashed 2 times. Not weird BUT it was very sudden. I crashed to the desktop AND my disappeared the instant it happened. I was able to log right back in no "you currently have a char active crap".

2. I crashed later on that night and I could swear my char looked right then left then crashed. I may be wrong but I would almost stake my pinky finger on it. Again I could log right back in. The char never went LD. I have another account logged is and saw him go poof no LD at all.

3. Ok this one is just crazy. I was standing at the bazaar getting ready to transfer some items to another char. Yes it was a frog I was going to give it to. Anyway as I was trading items I all the sudden zoned!!!!!! That’s right my guys zoned. He was back at his bind spot. He was a rogue. I was not running anything but eq. No web sites, 3rd party programs, NOTHING.
I was going to /petition it but since that new Eula stat meant I will never /petition again.

Beware the anal probes

Dont wanna seem paranoid here, but... I was also in the bazaar when I suddenly crashed to dekstop immidiately... didnt have MQ running either... weird shit... first time it happened I looked in my dbg.txt and found some line saying "write exception bla bla bla" occured and there was also a list of my registries EAX=00476xxx and so on... AND something like looked like memory dumps showing 2 lists of different hex values like this -> 24 45 01 74 c7 c3 b5 a8 24 45 00 74 c7 c3 b5 a8 second time I crashed out like that there was no such thing in the dbg.txt

I was like WTF... and no im not going to /petition either... but I think some plonker at verant took this "memory checking" one step to far, since EQ clearly can disconnect you for doing nothing but sit chatting in bazaar...

Many players on server as well as I have been having constant bazaar crashes. I think this is normal. As for the poofing in midair or gating as a rogue. heh. clueless.

Aye, it definately looks like it's the bazaar doing it, I have it happen all the time now.

Bugged items and stuff (like packets) cause you to spiraticly gate. That patch which changed the packet structure was doing that to some people.. My friend got this in POI:
