How do you connect multiple computers to the EQBC Server?

I was trying to help a friend connect a laptop to the EQBCServer running on his desktop and it hasn't worked out so far.

Wondering if anyone can guide us through it?

Found his IP address with ipconfig, tried doing

/plugin mq2eqbc > /bccmd connect <IP> 2112

and it didn't connect. I can't make heads or tails of the wiki, and I couldn't find any guides that worked googling it.

Just a guess, because i never used mq2eqbc. But did you try "/bccmd connect 2112" ?

Networking is a bitch to debug.

#1 - Given that you have verified EQBCServer is running and he can connect from to the server from the desktop.

#2 - On desktop cmd > ping <laptop>

#3 - On Laptop cmd > ping <desktop>

#4 - Go into windows and disable your fire wall on both machines.

#5 - try /bccmd <IP> 2112 from laptop

#6 turn firewalls back on and edit it to let traffic on 2112 flow.

#7. try /bccmd <IP> 2112 from laptop.

Good luck.

Yep, odds are that its the builtin windows firewall or your antivirus's firewall blocking the EQBC packets.
