Hello, this is not my first time compiling mq2, but this is the first time using vc2008, This is the error i keep getting when i try to compile mq2main, yes i have read the wiki and the help and the guide, so plz dont tear me apart lol, i couoldnt find the answer no where.

Well, thats is the same error i keep trying to get when i try and build the mq2main first, still havent figured it out

It says in the directions that i did not read and need to go back blah blah, but it is the right file, and i did follow instructions to the T, now i just dont get it....

Love the enthusiasm, i went over 100 fucking times, trying each one and still get the same fucking problem, so really tell me again that i didn't follow it,

Browse to the folder you extracted the source to and open MacroQuest2.sln
If asked to update the code for the current version of .NET, do so
Go to Build -> Configuration Manager
Select Release, and place a check in each dll you want compiled
In the Solution Explorer, right-click on MQ2Main and choose "Set as Startup Project"
With MQ2Main selected in the Solution Explorer, go to Build -> Build MQ2Main
Go to Build -> Batch Build, click "Select All" and then "Build"

Would you please post what you did to fix the error so the next person who encounters the error can find the answer?

For whatever reason my account settings was the problem, when i tried to compile it i just clicked on the .sln folder and it opened up the compiler, well because it did it that way it was giving me a error, but to fix it i just opened the compiler first, found the file and opened it that way and it worked.... I used compiler because im sure everyone is using a different version.
