First post, a blunt statement.

I'm stupid.

I just want to put this out there so we can set the ground works for what is to follow. I'm not a complete mouth breather, but it sometimes takes me having instructions in hand for me to put something together. I can figure out some things on my own and after reading over help files and such normally I can get things running.

Macroquest has beaten me, and apparently is way out of my reach for getting things running.

I've poured over countless threads and hundreds of people giving solutions to problems, unfortunately none of it has helped me. So with that said I am risking a ban with this to give you a little information.

I currently play on a free server, for the sake of simplicity I will say the server allows Multi-box and Macroquest. I have always been in awe of these people able to run programs such as this so I got it into my head "I wanna try to run a rogue and a cleric to augment me."

Prior to this, I was running ISboxer, but it just wasn't giving me what I wanted.

What I want to run:

I want to run a rogue and a cleric. That's it, no huge army, just 2 other characters.

What I need:

Someone willing to show me how to get started. What I need to read and what I need to do. I don't need to be hand-fed, but I would prefer if there were a step by step walk-through of how to get these things working.

I have the client version of Macroquest installed that will run for my server, my problem is these macros are kicking my ass and laughing at me.

To sum this all up. Please help an idiot out. Just... point me in the right direction please so I can start learning this stuff, please.

I am just as stupid, never fear! I did not think the current incarnation of MQ is supported on p1999 servers (or other types like that) as the offsets are based on current Live patches.

It is not, however, if you dig around a lot you will find that DKAA has pointed people over and over again to where they can find what they are looking for! Takes some time, and to be honest if I could remember where I last saw it I would link it, but I cant. Anywho, search will show you where to find what you are looking for.
