/beep Doesn't Work for Me

The /beep command had been working for me 2 weeks ago, but now it is not (same PC).

I've checked my volumes for both Windows and in game, none of them are muted or turned all the way down. Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can fix this?

FYI, when /beep was working, the sound was produced through my externally connected speakers. I've run a test on my speakers and they all work fine.

The standard beep doesn't work on vista or win7. You have to tell it what to play.

Thanks for your help.

For some odd reason the /beep is producing sound today. Talk about inconsistent.

Anyways, thanks again. I'll be telling it what sounds to produce from now on.
